Tell Somebody, please
I thought this was neat.
It’s a bit like the shampoo commercial. You tell two friends, and they’ll tell two friends, and so on.
If someone from Hoyt moves to Edmonton, now City Hall wants that person to get his friend from Oromocto to move there as well.
I read a report published in Alberta recently that concluded it was easier and more effective to attract Maritimers than immigrants.
Eventually, if New Brunswick ever gets around to generating any non-government jobs, I think we would be well advised to dust off this “Tell Somebody” campaign but instead of asking newcomers to call their friends we would tell our moms and dads to get on the telephone and convince their kids to move back.
