I never told you, I told you so

I said on Friday that no New Brunswick media outlet would mention the fact that New Brunswick was the only province in Canada to register a decline in employment over the past 12 months (as readily found in the Friday Statistics Canada report). The T&T quoted LeBreton as saying that there was a decline but couldn’t bring itself to compare to the rest of Canada which boomed forward over the past 12 months – all nine provinces.

-The NB Training Minister was ‘encouraged’ by the labour market statistics.
-All NB media was pushing a relatively positive spin on the labour market statistics.
-Francis McGuire says we need ‘massive change’ in order to reach self-sufficiency.

We need massive change alright but McGuire needs to point the guns at a) the provincial bureacracy and b) the media.

    Funny how numbers differ.

À titre d’exemple, 4900 emplois à temps plein se sont créés au N.-B., en 2006.
