Dion to win

Funny thing about Liberals. I read all this stuff about Liberals choosing ‘winners’ and the need to ‘win’ coming ahead of everything else.

Well, it would seem that ‘winnability’ doesn’t seem to be the current criteria to elect a Liberal leader.

I’ll blog more when it’s final.

If you’re conservative, I’m sure this will raise the question of going back to a convention style [voting] system as opposed to OMOV. That was quite the four day spectacle.

The ‘need to win’ Quebec anyway.

Dion can still be tar & feathered by the public because he is so linked to Chretien and Martin.

As much as the Libs want canadians to forget about their corruption…I have not. I thought Iggy would be a fresh start for them…unfortunately they are addicted to quebec leaders with ‘experience’. Too bad real world experience does not count to the liberal elite.

It’s bad enough that they had a keynote speaker from the United States. I’m not anti-American, I just think it would be better to showcase someone in your party rather than draw someone from the US.

As for an absentee leader, well…

This Iggy guy was a media manufacture. The only thing worse than Dion would be him. Press reports that he abandoned his children and spent almost half his life outside the country makes you wonder whether you need anything besides friends who own newspapers to be PM.
