Marriot to fill in eye sore in Moncton

The paper is reporting that Marriott Hotels of Canada plans to build a 120-room Marriott Residence Inn in downtown Moncton. Company vice-president Michael Beckley confirmed last night that his company has partnered with Connecticut-based New Castle Hotels and Resorts to build a $15-million all-suite hotel on vacant Main Street land between Assomption Boulevard and Mechanic Street.

This piece of prime real estate has been vacant far too long. Bravo.

Its almost surprising the amount of hotels that grace our city..

    We can call ourselves the

Tim Horton’s/Call Center/Hotel Capital of Atlantic Canada by density

(I wonder if that is something to be proud of or not)
