Passing around infection

I know this is a blog about the economy, but I have another story to make you laugh (or cry).

The health region in Fredericton last week made international headlines when it decided to remove all bibles from hospital rooms on the grounds they were spreading infection (not the religious kind).

This decision lead to a fairly large public outcry given the reserved bunch we New Brunswickers are.

From my perspective, what’s next? A new study out today in the U.S. finds that computer keyboards are the top culprit in spreading infection around hospitals. Are we going to remove all the computers?

After you think you have seen it all, this kind of think happens and you realize, nope.
